The shit we do to try to keep up with “trends”…
There are some nuggets in here, but let’s be real, this trend is dumb. Don’t hate the player, hate the game. The algorithm is to blame.
Anyway, here are some of the biggest mistakes I see from people starting on a new fitness journey!!
👉🏼Program hopping – pick one and STICK TO IT. Even if it’s garbage you really don’t know until you stick with it for at least 4 weeks.
👉🏼Relying on supplements – it’s in the name. Please use them to SUPPLEMENT your training and healthy lifestyle.
👉🏼Thinking cardio is the answer – you do need cardio, but probably less than most people think. We want minimum effective dosage for goals.
👉🏼Too much all at once – if you try to change 50 things at once, none will stick. Focus on changing one thing at a time.
👉🏼Not enough food – Most people aren’t eating enough. Please eat. Again, minimum effective dosage so the more you can eat and still get results the better!
👉🏼Not prioritizing the basics – if you’re not doing your best to sleep well and drinking enough water, you better not be taking supplements. Get the free effective things down first.
👉🏼Expecting results overnight – no matter what your goal is, it’s going to take TIME and CONSISTENCY. Give it a few months.
Was that helpful or should I stop trying to be trendy? No offense taken!!🤣
