Last rep was a little iffy but this is definitely a lifetime PR so that’s exciting.
After that I dropped 100# and repped out 12.
Getting some strength back postpartum TAKES TIME. While muscle memory is a thing and it comes back faster than if you never had it – building strength is never easy.
The hardest part of pregnancy for me was knowing that I couldn’t do all the things I used to/wanted to do.
I’m very thankful I had a healthy pregnancy and was able to stay active, but I still felt so weak once I got back in the gym.
I’ve had some nagging body parts that have needed some love but
I’m insanely proud to see the work paying off.
