This looks like a back day, but it just happened to be the exercises I filmed…
I did 5 exercises this day for a full body lift. Just 5.
2 Hip Dominant
2 Pulls
1 Core
I’ve started adding in some running with the intention to increase mileage so I’m decreasing my lifting load slightly and tailoring my program to more posterior chain, less knee dominant work because running tends to stress them. All the pulls because my shoulders still aren’t 💯 from carrying my little monster.
TWO POINTS:
1. THIS is why individual coaching can be better for most people. If you’re following a generalized plan, working with injuries/imbalances you may be doing more harm than good.
2. Your workouts don’t have to be 2 hours long to see results. If you’re spending over 1.5 in the gym on a regular basis for general fitness (specialized things are different) you’re probably doing more harm than good.
Everyone should work with a coach for at least a period of time in their lives for educational purposes. If you need that in your life, I’m here for ya☺️
