FOLLOW A TRAINING PLAN.
You know what is one of my biggest barriers to getting a workout in? When I don’t have a plan.
When I’m thinking that I need to workout, but then I realize I have to figure out what I’m going to do.
Luckily, It’s kind of what I do – so while it’s not hard for me to quickly write down something simple, it’s an annoying feeling for me when I don’t have an actual plan I’m following.
When I do have one though, I actually have more of a feeling of something I NEED to do – like part of my to do list.
I don’t like wasting time and I know how inefficient it is:
– to not know what you did the week before and try to build off of it
– to do random exercises thrown together in no particular order
– To do different exercises week after week
– To spend time AT THE GYM figuring it out
I can promise you, without a plan – YOU WILL NOT SEE PROGRESS.
It doesn’t have to be complicated – in fact, THE MORE SIMPLE THE BETTER.
It doesn’t have to be long – 30-60 MINS IS ALL YOU NEED.
It doesn’t need to AND SHOULDN’t change every week – CONSISTENCY IS KEY IN EVERY ASPECT.
