I have been SO SLACKING on my mobility lately and my body hates me for it.
My knees pop and crack at every squat, my shoulder is clicking, my back is tight – MAN getting old sucks lol
I incorporate mobility into all my clients warmups, specific to their needs and there’s always “off day” movement that addresses flexibility and mobility because it’s SO IMPORTANT.
This frog rock back is a great hip opener that can be tweaked a couple different ways depending on what you need. You can take your feet apart of keep them close, you can tuck your pelvis or allow the low back to drop, you can lift a foot to work on rotation…move in a way that feels good!
Needless to say, today is a mobility day. Don’t be like me and wait till your body hurts to take care of it.
